Our stay at Guesthouse Maya was fantastic. The owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area, providing us with valuable information and recommendations. The rooms were clean and well set up in the charming old building. We especially loved that they offered a Mt Maya ropeway pass for free, allowing us to explore the area with ease. it was a cozy and comfortable stay.
The only drawback was the proximity to the train tracks, which may disturb light sleepers. However, the guesthouse provides earplugs to mitigate the noise.

I had an amazing time at Guesthouse Maya in Kobe. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. They were always available to offer advice on sightseeing and things to do in the area. The guesthouse itself had a beautifully designed interior and my room was clean and comfortable. The beds were surprisingly spacious and I had a great night's sleep. I also loved the cozy atmosphere of the common room where I could chat with other guests. The location was perfect for me as I enjoy hiking, with the trailhead for Mt. Maya just a short walk away. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend Guesthouse Maya to others. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a great stay in Kobe.

I loved the cute and warm design of the guesthouse. It gave off a cozy vibe that made me feel right at home during my Christmas stay. The staff were also very friendly and professional, always ready to assist and provide helpful advice. One of the best aspects of the guesthouse was the comfortable and well-designed beds. I had a good night's sleep and wasn't easily bothered by others.
One thing I disliked about the guesthouse was the location of the common area. It was situated on the 6th floor, which made it less accessible and limited the chances of socializing with other guests.
